Tean Rangers 1 Alton 3

A game of set pieces saw Alton come out victorious in a pretty balanced contest. Alton took the lead when centre half, Jack Rowe, converted from an inswinging free kick on 20. Tean dominated the first 25 minutes of the second half and got their reward when Jay Boyles head home a long throw from Cole Ainsworth. Against the run of play, Alton went ahead, Jack Rowe again with towering header, before they sealed the victory with a late Pete Johnson goal.

Charlie Bassetts 1 Oldfields 8

Frantic start in 4th minute saw a one on one great finish by Jack Kay put Bassets ahead.  Within 3 mins Oldfields corner was headed  into own net by Bassets player.
Oldfields took the lead from a corner converted by Reuben Kenny.  Good football from both sides, helped by a very good pitch, however, it was Oldfields who converted their chances and took the game away from Bassets by Half time with goals from Jack Jeffery, Reuben Kenny and a great strike from Charlie Ratcliffe Ht 5.1  Oldfields continued after the break to assert their dominance and played some lovely football.  Bassetts continued to contain Oldfields but their own chances were limited.  Oldfields converted 3 more through Matt Redshaw, Jack Jeffery and Jase Beardsley to comfortably win the game with no bookings.
Man of the match was Charlie Ratcliffe.

Marchington 9 Sudbury Park 2

Last years league champions were put under pressure from the first whistle with Sudbury opening the scoring when they volleyed in from 8 yards in the opening minutes.
Marchington responded with and equaliser 5 minutes later when Esplin slipped the Sudbury defender and slotted past the keeper.
With play flowing end to end, it took a scorcher for Sudbury from 20 yards out to make it 2-1.
Sudbury were playing some lovely football. It was taking Marchington time to settle.
Then in the 28 minute,the game was turned on its head when the Sudbury keeper lashed out kicking an opponent.
Ref produced a red card and awarded a penalty to Marchington.
It was converted through Metcalf.
2-2.
The whole game changed Marchington.
Took control against the ten men of Sudbury.
Scoring a third and Esplins second just before half time.
Although Sudbury battled on, Marchington slick passing was too much for Sudbury and 10 men.
Esplin completed his hat trick, further goals from Ingram, Hepburn 2, Whealn and Archer.
Completed the rout.

Ball Haye Green Dev 3 Leigh United 2

A really good game both teams showing a high level of technical ability and trying to play attractive football, BHG went 1 up when Dave Iacano scored a worldy reminiscent of Ronaldinhos goal against Chelsea. Robbie Minshall equalised to make it 1-1. Will Whitehurst also scored a quality goal beating 4 players and curling it in the far corner to make it 2-1. Dave Iacano scored again to make it 2-2. At 2-2 the ref awarded a penalty to BHG when someone that wasn't the keeper caught the ball on the line
 Penalty converted by Ashton Barker for 3-2 win.

Tuns 5 Cheadle SMU 2

Tuns started off slow being 2-0 down after 2 minutes with goals for SMU from Akram and Pell. Macca Greensmith scored a free kick but the game with still 50/50 up to Half time 2-1. 2nd half tuns found there game and started to play some good football finding the goal 5 minutes in from Ashley Hudson . Tuns then dominated the game and Roik got his hat trick with some nice build up play from the tuns final score 5-2. The result sees Tuns finish 2nd in their group and qualify for the Alan Featherstone Semi Finals.

Sudbury 4 Tean Rangers Reserves 1

The first 20 minutes was end to end but in the 25 minutes this was the tuning point in the game
A shot came in from a Sudbury player it was going in and a tean rangers rev player decided to punch the ball wide of the goal
So this was a dismiss for tean and Sudbury scored from the spot
Tean battled on half time 2 - 0 Sudbury
5 minutes into the 2nd half Sudbury scored again
Tean did scored a goal through Leandro Alves.
The result sees Sudbury qualify for the Ken Green Semi Finals as group winners.
