WEEK 5 ROUND-UP
SEPTEMBER 14TH, 2025
Sudbury Park 1 Alton 3
Alton had their first visit to Sudbury for the season and took the lead after 30 seconds when McNair closed the keeper down and won the ball to score. Alton made it 2 after a mix up at the back let McNair in again. Sudbury got 1 back through a well taken header before Morris hit a third just after half time to give Alton a 3-1 victory. Credit to Sudbury who tried to play some really good football at times.
Oldfields 3 Marchington 0
A very quick start from Oldfields saw them take the lead after 30 seconds with Charlie Ratcliffe taking his goal very well.
Game was very even. But Oldfields doubled their lead with Jack Jeffery skipping around a couple of players to fire the ball home.
Oldfields keeper very quiet a lot of play in midfield but nothing too threatening.
Middle of the second half Oldfields won a corner. Matt Redshaw delivered a perfect corner for Joe Baxter to head home.
Tean Rangers 2 Charlie Bassetts 1
In a battle between friends Tean Rangers were victorious after being the better team first half and deservedly leading through Matt Sherratt.
The second half was a battle for both sides and Tean had numerous chances but Bassetts after having a player sin binned seemed to want it and even though they went 2-0 down after an own goal were pushing constantly and got one back through Denan Farrington and were pushing constantly and the two man of the matches both goalkeepers were busy constantly Little pulling off two good saves from Lockett and Dowling and Brad Cummings for Bassetts running up and done the field for every corner and set piece. A very tough game but Tean put their chances away and take 3 points.

Tuns 1 Foxley 3
Foxley started quickly with a goal on the 4th minute a tidy finish. Tuns raised their game and got a deserved equalizer after 37 minutes through Yevhenni Roik who was unmarked at the back post. On 43 minutes the foxley captain chested and volleyed home from the edge of the box, real bit of quality. Tuns kept battling with some dangerous attacks, then a sharp turn and shot in the box from a substitute on 70 minutes made the comeback more difficult. Tuns pressed but to no avail.
